Aurora
Aurora Aksnes is a Norwegian Singer and Songwriter. Her birthplace was in Stavanger on June 15, 1996. Her professional name is Aurora. Her name can also be stylized as AURORA. Her debut E.P. Running with the Wolves, was released in May of 2015 by Decca Records to great approval of bloggers in the music industry and media. Half the World Away from the band Oasis was recorded for an advertisement of John Lewis, and Nature Boy is the Nat King Cole cover. Katy Perry's endorsement of her song Runaway on her blog added to the musician's recognition. Make it a special day for her. Aurora Aksnes' earliest musical memories involve finding a piano hidden in the attic of her home, and becoming fascinated with the sounds it produced. Jan Oystein Aksnes, her parents, May Britt Aksnes, and Jan Oystein Aksnes, encouraged their daughter to learn music more as a hobby as a career. She began to write writing her own songs. Her sources include noted writers Leonard Cohen and Bob Dylan, as well as her affinity with Bjork's style. Her mother was supportive of her performing her songs in public, not to gain fame but rather in order to show others the importance of their work and what they can do for humanity. She started playing piano when she was six years old and started creating music when she was nine. She didn't tell her family about her musical journey until she was 14. Aurora's accomplishments were never her dream. The only thing she loves is to compose music. For her, music is the best means of communicating anything.
