Anika Rose is an American performer and actress. Best known as the vocalist of Tiana In The Princess and the Frog The first African American Disney Princess. She was named a Disney legend in 2011. Rose was in the role of Lorrell Robinson on the Academy Award-winning movie Dreamgirls. Anika Rose was born on the 6th of September on the 6th of September, 1972. She is a famous American actor and singer. Most famously, she is known for her role as Tiana The Princess as well as the Frog's 2009 African-American Princess. In 2011 she was honored as an official Disney Legend. Her most well-known roles include roles in the film Lorrell in Dreamgirls the Academy Award winning film (2006) as well as LaVerne in Starz's Power. Alongside her acting work, she's known for the roles she performed in theater.
