Anika Noni Rose is an American performer and actress. Most famously, she is known for the role of Tiana Disney's first African-American princess as Tiana Disney's first African-American princess in The Princess and the Frog. Disney Legend was bestowed upon her in the year 2011. Rose was the Oscar-winning actress who was Lorrell on the screen in Dreamgirls. Anika Noni Rose (born on the 6th of September 1973) is an American actor and singer. She is best known for portraying Tiana Disney's first princess of African descent in The Princess and the Frog (2009). She was named a Disney legend in the year 2011. The actress is also known for her roles as Lorrell in Dreamgirls, which was an Academy Award winning film (2006) as well as LaVerne in Starz's Power. Her other notable roles include her theatre performances, specifically due to her roles in the lead role of Emmie Thibodeaux, in The Broadway production of Caroline or Change (2004) in which she was awarded the Tony Award for Best Featured actor in a Musical. Also, she starred as Beneatha Younger as part of The Broadway revival of A Raisin in the Sun (2014) where she was nominated for a Tony Award for Best Featured Actress in a Play.

Angelina Marie Pivarnick was born in Staten Island, United States on June 26 1986. Pivarnick, an American television reality personality was recognized on the scene after she was a part of the an award-winning M.T.V. Jersey Shore (2010, a couple of episodes) in seasons 1 and 2.
